Physical Appearance
1997-2003
In his first appearances, Marky is shown with a slightly football-shaped head, a reddish-brown bowl-cut, short overalls with a shirt underneath (post-Soccer) and no shoes or socks.
2004-2007
In his appearances after 2003, Marky is shown to have a more rounded-out face shape. He seems a little more cleaned up, with a dark brown long-sleeved shirt under his overalls, and work boots.
2007-2009
In Marky's later appearances his buck teeth aren't as prominent, and his red hair got lighter, possibly with age. The outfit changes stays the same as in 2002-2007.
Present
His hair is neater and browner, he got taller, wears a yellow hoodie with silver stripes, a gray t-shirt, blue jeans, and yellow canvases.
Personality
Marky has a redneck sort of personality. Very easy-going, loyal to his friends, and sort of on the clueless side. In the older Backyard games, Marky never liked wearing shoes or socks and prefer to go barefooted. This all changed in the newer games where he dresses more normally than he did back in the older games.
Player Cards
The only time Marky wears shoes is to school and church. He really doesn't like them. or socks either. But he does like playing baseball, and he's good at it too.

Backyard Baseball 2001 & Backyard Baseball 2003
If you're looking for a player with a pet frog in his overalls, look no further. Marky is a solid outfielder with a strong throwing arm, and he can play all day. But getting him focused is almost as hard as getting him to take a bath. He doesn't like socks, though - remember that.

Marky really doesn't like wearing shoes, especially soccer shoes. He made his own shinguards out of newspaper, but they don't seem to be helping him play any better.
